Namaya is a renowned performance poet, story teller, multimedia artist, musician, and playwright who has performed throughout the US, Europe, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, and Asia. His art work have been in gallery shows in Mexico and the USA
His play BEATNIK CAFE: A MUSICAL REVUE OF THE JAZZ BEAT GENERATION was performed in NYC and Boston, and is currently seeking a producer for further shows.
Namaya, along with his team at NPI produces art, performance, music, and videos that promote peace and social justice. His performance of “GOLDBERG ON PALESTINE: WITNESS TO GENOCIDE,” will premiere at the Fellowship of Reconciliation on June 1, 2012. Followup performances are scheduled for the fall of 2012.
His new play, “Four Profits,” where Jesus, Mohammed, Moses, and Satan dressed in a black dominatrix outfit dragged by the four whores of the apocalypse Greed, lust, pride, gluttony in the guise of Congress, Pentagon Man, World Bank, and Wall Street Piggy meet in a public restroom to debate is seeking production support.
Pornography of War – This is a series of art, photography, drawings, writings about the obscenity of war and the consequence.
