Namaya MIA, MSN, D.Sci.

Is an internationally renowned performance poet, multimedia artist, playwright, musician and storyteller.

He is a veteran, served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Yemen, and is a lifelong peace activist. He has presented art and performance projects "Memoria. Hablar. Dignidad." at human rights centers Villa Grimaldi in Santiago and other peace building projects around the globe. His art work has appeared in shows in San Miguel Allende and peace centers internationally.

His solo and ensemble projects have included "Witness: Israel-Palestine: Journey to Peace," "War is a Racket," and the new multimedia show "Pornography of War - In An Age of Desire." His play "Beatnik Cafe" was performed in NYC and in New England.

In January 2018 Namaya will have a solo show at the New Orleans Art Center “Pornography of War.”

He is the author books of poetry and stories-"GOD.SEX.POLITICS," "Vermont My Home," and most recently, "Celebrate Life: Viva La Vida."
